Touch of feminine. Mix and match outfits are challenging at times so a dress (like on the right photo) is always a no-brainer :)

One perk of having a baby girl is that there are a lot of options for dressing up (or down) your child. Thing is, you'll also go broke if you go buying every cute dress or shoe out there. I used to fight my urges to go all out shopping for Georgie's wardrobe but I learned to restrain myself and try to buy pieces that would go a long way. I like buying simplre dresses that Georgie could wear as a top na lang when she grows bigger.
Medyo hirap lang ako when it comes to shoes, hehehe. What I do is think na madaling pagsikipan ni Georgie yan so the impulse would subside. But Georgie is showing "symptoms" (?) of being a shoe fanatic herself when she would take out her fur trimmed boots, hand it to me to help her wear it for INSIDE THE HOUSE. Boots are not slippers, anak! She also kept insisting on wearing her sequined rubber shoes when visiting her granny who lives just one floor above us. *sigh* Anyway, as you know I love dressing up so I thought of sharing here some of Georgie's outfits also. She loves going out. Just tell her, "Pasyal tayo" and she'll say "A-is" (Alis with a silent "l") while pointing to the door. She screams in delight whenever we go downstairs cos she knows we'll be going out. Lakwatsera! Lol. So I'll start of with the outfit she wore for the kiddie Christmas party here at the office last December 2012 :) I must admit that I wasn't all that sure of this outfit when I had put it on. It was one of those mornings that I was just pulling out what I had in my closet and trying to at least look decent since I was already running late. For the longest time, I really wanted to wear this pleated skirt but wasn't able to do so because I haven't really shrunk to my pre-pregnancy body yet. Then I had to agonized over which jacket to wear since most of what I've tried on seem to be of the wrong length. Good thing my cropped jacket went well with this as it also added a bit of modern touch. I guess it worked out cos I received a couple of compliments during the day (and these were from a couple of guys, take note) so I was happy with my wardrobe choice.
The theme for our Christmas party was KPop. I know that KPop artists are know for their bold wardrobe choices - bright colors, mixed patterns, statement accessories. But I wasn't at all comfy with going KPop all the way plus, I already decided to wear the jumpsuit that I have in closet. So I decided to build my outfit around that key piece and just take the some KPop details to integrate into it. And the result is a party outfit that uber comfy with and I'd say definitely still my style. What did you wear for your party? :) Sleeveless flower print dress (Dress Up) + navy shrug + black belt + nude wedges
I just love these blouses that I bought in Landmark. I like the crocheted neckline but I love the prints especially the blue and gold one. I liked it so much I couldn't resist taking a photo inside the fitting room. Hehe.
I'm back! :) Here are some of the outfits I'd worn for casual Fridays. Since I haven't lost the pregnancy fats yet, it's still a bit challenging to come up with outfits from my closet. |
